We're looking for an experienced Marketing & Development Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for developing and delivering contemporary marketing, communications and development strategies that enhance Kirinari's reputation, promote our services and support organisational growth.

You will work across multiple service streams and social enterprises, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence while building meaningful relationships with stakeholders, community partners, supporters and donors.

As a member of Kirinari’s Strategy department, you will contribute to strategic planning and help shape the future direction of marketing and development across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative marketing and communications strategies across priority service areas and social enterprises.
• Drive brand awareness and strengthen Kirinari's market position.
•  Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print and traditional media channels to support customer acquisition.
• Manage and enhance Kirinari's digital presence, including website, social media and online engagement.
• Identify opportunities for organisational growth and business development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, supporters, sponsors and donors.
• Coordinate events and community engagement activities and initiatives.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Manage external marketing suppliers, agencies and creative partners.
• Support media relations, public relations and reputation management activities.
• Ensure all communications align with accessibility, inclusion and brand standards.
• Mentor and support marketing team members and contribute to a high-performing culture.

About You

You are a passionate and strategic marketing professional who thrives in a purpose-driven environment and enjoys balancing big-picture planning with hands-on delivery.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, brand management, fundraising, business development or a related field.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

The Role
This role is about keeping services running smoothly outside normal business hours.

You'll support:

Shift Availability
This role operates outside normal business hours and requires flexibility across a rotating roster including:

Kirinari Community Services have a fantastic opportunity for a Community Scheduler to secure employment with a well-recognised, rapidly expanding and essential support service in our Lavington head office. 

Kirinari is a highly reputable and respected support service providing essential care and high-quality support to enrich the lives of our customers. Kirinari employ over 1500 staff in various regions across VIC, NSW, SA, QLD, ACT and TAS. Key Responsibilities: 

The Community Scheduler coordinates rosters for our aged care customers across our service regions to ensure cost effective and timely allocation of shifts in-line with the relevant agreement. This position will liaise with customers and employees on a regular basis with a strong focus on problem solving and analytical thinking. 

The Community Scheduler works in a fast-paced, high pressure environment where attention to detail is imperative for success. This position works with rostering software (Procura and Alayacare), Microsoft Suite and other in-house systems. 

This position is a full-time permanent position, based in our Lavington office,

 until December 2026- may conclude earlier with 4 weeks' notice in writing. With a roster of Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. This position is to commence as soon as practicable. 

• Ensuring consumer services are scheduled in a timely manner, liasing with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient use of resources and in accordance with our customers' needs
• Providing timely notification to customers in relation to alterations to schedules and complete required documentation in our client management system
• Working closely with other stakeholders to ensure annual/sick/other leave is effectively managed to ensure customers are not impacted
• Ensuring rostering aligns with the relevant Industrial Instrument 
• Achieving results in a skilled, diverse, and engaged manner that positively responds to change and deadlines
• Proactively investigating issues and working collaboratively to provide effective solutions

About You: 

• Rostering/scheduling/workforce planning or a strong admin background with a love of puzzles and scheduling
• A passion for exceptional customer service, along with a friendly and confident phone manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience using Procura/Alyacare rostering will be highly regarded 
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment  
• Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment and a willingness to learn
• Ability to build and maintain trust and confidence of stakeholders through building rapport, consistent performance and delivering on services
• A high level of computer literacy

  • Qualification in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain
  • Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work – Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
  • Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Current Driver's License

Kirinari Community Transport provides safe, comfortable, and affordable transport for the frail aged, younger people with a disability, their carers, and the transport disadvantaged. TNSW defines transport disadvantaged as being affected by specific circumstances that leave people with limited or no access to private transport and difficulty in accessing conventional transport. It also recognises that people living in isolated and remote communities are more likely to be part of this group.

What your day-to-day will look like:

The primary objective of the Care Partner Transport is to schedule drivers and vehicles to provide safe, efficient transport services, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service. You may also drive customers so they can get to personal, community and social activities.

What we needs from you:

• Willingness to obtain a passenger transport licence code
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.

You will provide direct support across a range of customer needs including, domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.

Kirinari is a highly reputable and respected disability support service providing essential care and high-quality support to enrich the lives of our customers. Kirinari employ over 1300 staff in various regions across VIC, NSW and TAS.

About the Position

Our DSW's support people in their day-to-day living. We provide quality 24/7 care in our supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes) ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.

You will provide direct support across a range of customer needs including, domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.
  
Broad availability to provide services in a 24/7 environment, weekend and overnight availability is a must (generous penalties apply).
 
We currently have several positions on offer to commence asap.

About You:

• Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights,
  weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
• Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
• Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
• Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
• Smart Phone
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
