Due to ongoing growth Kirinari Community Services is seeking a task focused and detail orientated Housing Coordinator to commence in our corporate office in Albury. Kirinari is a dynamic, expanding provider that delivers high quality services in NSW, TAS, SA, QLD and Victoria. Registered with the NSW Registrar of Community Housing, Kirinari is a not-for-profit Disability Support, Aged Care and Community Housing provider that provides safe, secure and sustainable housing to low-income earners and people requiring more support surrounding their home and living situation. About the Position: Our organization is seeking a suitably experienced Housing Coordinator with a strong sense of Community to join our Albury team. As a Housing Coordinator you will provide a broad range of tenancy and property management services to clients, advocates and other stakeholders. Working with a portfolio of tenancies, the Housing Coordinator will deliver high quality service which includes but is not limited to: - Appropriately and sensitively managed housing services within the framework of Kiminari's policies and procedures.
- Act within the law and Tenancy Act with their Delegated Authority, conducting themselves in a professional and ethical manner
- Undertake training with the support of Kirinari, to continuously develop skills and enhance the skillset personally and professionally.
- Follow the Tenancy Act to ensure that all stakeholders are not disadvantaged
- Regular collaboration wit Housing Services Team to ensure
- Ensure clients, partners and all stakeholders of Kirinari receive a customer-orientated service at all times.
- Establish and Manage Tenancies in accordance with organizational policy and statutory/regulatory obligations.
About You: - Previous experience or qualifications in Community Housing and/or Real Estate or similar experience.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn systems quickly
- Ability to understand Community Housing and the role Kirinari plays in the community
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced/high pressure environment with set deadlines and competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Approach each situation with professionalism, empathy and resilience.
- Critical thinker with an eye for detail
- A willingness to learn
