Kirinari Community Services have a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career in our well-recognised, rapidly expanding and essential support service! Due to ongoing growth in the Bathurst region we are seeking applications for 2 x Full Time Team Leaders - Complex Care. This team works across Out of Home Care (OOHC) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and supports people who experience challenging behaviours with a focus on trauma informed care and trauma recovery. Kirinari is a highly reputable and respected disability support service providing essential care and high-quality support to enrich the lives of our customers. Kirinari employ over 1300 staff in various regions across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. Our core values guide our strong service delivery to enact positive change and choice in the lives of the clients we support. About the Position The Complex Care Team provides services and supports to both OOHC / Voluntary OOHC and NDIS participants. This position works within Kirinari’s strength-based, non-punitive, therapeutic model of care to provide safety to our clients while identifying and supporting growth needs. You will lead a team of Complex Disability Support Workers to provide our customer with consistency, support and safety through their developed individual care plans. These positions are Full Time, 76 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. About You - Tertiary qualification in a related field is highly regarded
- Minimum of 2 years Industry experience in an equivalent role
- Strong interest in mental health and the disability industry
- Understanding of strength based trauma informed practice framework
- Previous experience in residential therapeutic care and complex trauma is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Leadership skills
- Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
- Smart Phone
- Current Driver's Licence
