About RISE

Kirinari’s RISE Training Social Enterprise has a simple but powerful vision: an Australia where people facing barriers to employment are fully included in the workforce.

Kirinari’s mission is to support people to live a good life, and RISE Training plays a crucial role in achieving this by supporting regional Australians to develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to secure meaningful mainstream employment.

RISE delivers a workplace-based training program underpinned by an evidence-based Employment Capability Framework developed by Jigsaw Australia. Through a combination of practical work experience, individualized support, and targeted skill development, RISE empowers participants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.

  • Supporting trainees to develop workplace skills, independence, and employment readiness.
  • Assisting trainees to meet and exceed their individual employment goals.
  • Developing and maintaining training resources that align with the RISE Employment Pathway.
  • Providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to Trainers within the hub.
  • Supporting the onboarding and development of new Trainers.
  • Promoting best practice approaches to participant support and training delivery.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement, quality, and implementation of the RISE Employment Pathway.
  • Assisting the Operations Lead to monitor, track, and report on trainee progression against pathway competencies.
  • Building positive relationships with trainees, families, support networks, employers, and community stakeholders.
