Kirinari employ over 1300 staff in various regions across VIC, NSW and TAS. We have an opportunity in Launceston TASMANIA for a Key Worker to join our dynamic team. About the Position As a Key Worker, you will support the implementation of individualised program within a supported independent living accommodation setting (SIL/Group Homes). You will strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure a person-centered and high-quality approach to the services we provide to our customers. As Key Worker you will need to develop an understanding of the support needs of the customers including meals, daily routines, medication, personal care. You will support staff to understand any behaviours of concern in line with any BSP and develop staff to provide services under the active participation model. As a Key Worker you will also complete: - Administrative support
- Hands on work including weekends and over night shifts.
- Assistance to develop staff to understand the needs of the customers and provide quality supports.
This position will grow and develop overtime into a more senior role as our Launceston operation develops. This is fantastic opportunity to join and grow with us. This position is Part-Time Permanent and will commence as soon as practicable. About You - Previous experience in the Human Services Sector is highly regarded
- Demonstrated leadership experience is highly regarded
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
- Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
- Ability to obtain the Working with Vulnerable People Check with NDIS Endorsement.
- Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
- Smart Phone
- Current Driver's Licence
