Our growing Tamworth team have a Part time opportunity available for experienced Aged and Home Care Worker.

 

Healthy Ageing Kirinari is a well-regarded My Aged Care and Home Care services organisation that provides high levels of customer service in NSW, SA, ACT, TAS, QLD and Victoria. Our core values guide our strong service delivery to enact positive change and choice in the lives of the clients we support.

 

About the Position

Our Healthy Ageing services deliver quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible. This position will start as 20 hours a fortnight.

A typical day assisting our customers to live their best lives may include:

  • Domestic assistance
  • Assisted shopping/client appointments
  • Respite care
  • Specific assistance related to a medical condition
  • Meal preparation
  • Social support and community engagement
  • Assistance with personal care

Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (km’s travelled between customers also claimable)

 

About You:

  • Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm (Some weekend and public holidays as required)
  • Having completed a minimum Certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing etc.)
  • Experienced in specific medical needs
  • Qualification in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain prior to commencement
  • Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Current Driver's License
  • Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
