LiveBetter has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer in our Monto Neighbourhood Centre. This role is Fixed Term Fulltime until 30.06.2026.

 

LiveBetter Community Support Services support people in regional communities across Eastern Australia to live better lives through education, social and community participation, coaching and capacity building, service coordination and transport services.

We support parents, carers, families, children, people with disability, aged people, transport
disadvantaged, and small regional communities.

 

About the position

 

The Customer Service Officer provides welcoming, front-line support to customers accessing LiveBetter programs and services. Working under direct supervision and following established procedures, this role assists customers with basic information, form completion, and access to resources.
The Customer Service Officer also acts as the Centrelink Agent for Monto by helping customers use Services Australia online services, access forms, and navigate self-service options. The role focuses on routine customer assistance, accurate information sharing, and maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly environment within the centre.

 

 

About You:

  • Basic customer service skills, with the ability to provide friendly, respectful, and helpful support to customers
  • Clear verbal communication and basic writing skills to relay information accurately and courteously
  • Ability to follow procedures when assisting customers with forms, referrals, and enquiries
  • Attention to detail in recording customer information and maintaining basic records and Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues to supervisors when required
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to use customer management systems under guidance
  • Confidentiality and professionalism, including adherence to privacy and organisational policies
  • Ability to manage routine tasks in a busy environment with guidance from supervisors

 

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
  • Able to pass a National Crime Check
  • Have or willing to obtain a NDIS Screening Check and Blue Card.
