LiveBetter has an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer in our Monto Neighbourhood Centre. This role is Fixed Term Fulltime until 30.09.2028.

 

LiveBetter Community Support Services support people in regional communities across Eastern Australia to live better lives through education, social and community participation, coaching and capacity building, service coordination and transport services.

We support parents, carers, families, children, people with disability, aged people, transport
disadvantaged, and small regional communities.

 

About the position

 

The Project Support Officer is responsible for providing high-quality administrative, project and program support across a range of community-based initiatives. Working closely with the Community Service Coordinator and Neighbourhood Centre team, this role contributes to the effective planning, delivery, and evaluation of community programs, events, and customer services. The position promotes a positive and inclusive organisational culture,
strengthens stakeholder relationships and supports improved outcomes for customers across the community and health sectors.

 

 

About You:

  • Relevant experience, qualifications, and training in any of the following fields – Community Services, or Administration.
  • Previous experience in a role that required the provision of administrative, and support functions.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite of products to produce reports and documents.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility in your role.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high level customer service (preferably within an aged, health or community services setting).
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to apply a high level of attention to detail along with the willingness to learn.
  • Sound ability to manage and prioritise workload in a constantly changing, high volume environment.
  • Previous experience working in a health, community service organisation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the community and health sector, including the complex challenges faced by people with a disability, mental health condition and the aged.

 

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
  • Able to pass a National Crime Check
  • Have or willing to obtain a NDIS Screening Check and Blue Card.
