We're looking for a motivated Carer Vocational Pathways Coach to join our Carer Gateway team for a Fixed-term position until 30 June 2027, with Part-Time or Full-Time hours available. 

About the role

You'll empower carers who are looking to return to work, start a new career or explore volunteering opportunities through personalised, strengths-based coaching, you'll help carers identify their skills, build confidence, explore career options, develop job-ready skills and successfully transition into employment. You'll also build connections with employers, training providers and community organisations to create sustainable vocational pathways.

About You

• A background in Community Services, Health, Welfare, Social Services or Education, or 3+ years' relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A passion for empowering people and supporting individual goals and independence.
• Understanding of employment barriers and the challenges faced by carers.
• Strong problem-solving, service coordination and referral skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check.
• Full working rights in Australia.
