The Role
This role is about much more than completing tasks. It's about creating a positive start to the day, reducing anxiety through consistency and helping someone feel informed, supported and confident.

 

You'll support a customer to:

• Complete personal care, showering and continence routines
• Receive medication support in line with training and support plans
• Maintain a clean and comfortable home by assisting with domestic duties
• Use a visual schedule to understand appointments and daily activities
• Manage anxiety through calm reassurance and predictable routines
• Maintain choice, dignity and independence

Experience in disability support, home care, personal care, acquired brain injury, medication administration or continence support will be highly regarded.

You won't be expected to know everything on day one.

 

Essential Requirements
🔹 Current Driver Licence
🔹 NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
🔹 Australian Working Rights
🔹 Experience or capability providing personal care and household support
🔹 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
🔹 Ability to complete accurate records and report health concerns
🔹 Commitment to privacy, dignity and professional boundaries
