What success looks like in this role
As Senior Trainer, you'll be a leader, coach and mentor within the RISE Training Hub.

Success isn't measured by paperwork or activity. It's measured by seeing trainees achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. It's helping someone gain confidence, develop workplace skills, overcome challenges and take meaningful steps towards employment and independence.

You'll work closely with trainees, trainers, employers, families and support networks to create positive outcomes that genuinely change lives.

The opportunity
Working alongside the Lead Trainer and broader RISE team, you'll deliver engaging training, workplace coaching and mentoring that supports participants to progress through the RISE Employment Pathway.

You will:

• Deliver high-quality one-on-one and group training
• Support trainees to build workplace skills, confidence and independence
• Coach participants towards achieving their individual employment goals
• Develop and maintain engaging training resources
• Mentor and support Trainers within the hub
• Assist with onboarding and developing new team members
• Promote best-practice training and participant support approaches
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and program quality
• Monitor and report on participant progress and pathway outcomes
• Build strong relationships with employers, families, support networks and community stakeholders

About you
You're someone who believes in people's potential and enjoys helping others succeed.

You might come from disability services, employment services, training, education, allied health or a related field, but what matters most is your ability to connect with people, inspire confidence and support meaningful growth.

You'll bring:

• A genuine passion for creating opportunities for people with disability
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring capability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Creativity and adaptability when supporting individual learning needs
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A patient, empathetic and person-centred approach
• Experience supporting people with complex support needs or challenging behaviours is highly regarded, but not essential.
