The Role
You'll support a customer to:

• Access community activities and appointments
• Participate in meaningful outings and experiences
• Receive personal care with dignity and respect
• Build confidence through consistent support
• Exercise choice, control and independence wherever possible

 

You will also:

• Provide full assistance with daily living and personal care tasks
• Support PEG feeding requirements and daily routines
• Complete safe 2:1 transfers and manual handling tasks
• Follow support plans and proactive support strategies
• Complete accurate documentation and progress notes
• Support safe community participation

⭐ Confident with personal care and PEG feeding support
⭐ Experienced with transfers and manual handling
⭐ Comfortable working in community settings

You won't be expected to know everything on day one.

 

Essential Requirements
🔹 Experience supporting people with complex disabilities or high support needs
🔹 NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
🔹 Current Driver Licence
🔹 Experience with personal care, PEG feeding, transfers or manual handling is highly regarded
🔹 Strong documentation and communication skills
🔹 Commitment to customer-specific training and buddy shifts
